This website features visualizations created by participants in the Harvard Digital Scholarship Support Group - Fundamentals of Digital Scholarship Seminar. All visualizations used a common dataset, a collection of Robert Louis Stevenson letters scraped from Wikisource and processed to include additional metadata. The dataset and Python notebooks used for processing are available on GitHub.
The Harvard University Digital Scholarship Support Group (DSSG) provides faculty, students, and staff interested in incorporating digital methods into their teaching and research with a single point of entry to the many resources available at Harvard.
The Fundamentals of Digital Scholarship Seminar is half of DSSG's Foundations Seminar Series, which addresses the Digital Literacy component of the organization's three-fold mission. The sister Seminar, Digital Teaching Methods, will be offered again in January. More information, and a registration link, can be found on the DSSG website.
